Apart from the obvious **** fight and Hatton getting knocked out again, the aftermath was another showcase of the lack of class of these people. Mass booing of Shenchenko at his respectful and low-key victory celebration, and then in the post-fight presser not one mention of praise or 'well done' to the Ukrainian and instead Hatton waffled on about himself the whole time, me, myself and I. Some things never change.

I've experienced the Hatton nuthuggers up close at 2 fights and they're a mostly rotten bunch, like a pack of rabid dogs.

Very happy for Shenckenko and congrats on a job well done.

He has a point to be fair. The way he celebrated victory was pure class, not running around like a madman but lifting hattons hand and showing respect, it's a shame hatton couldn't show some in his defeat.

I don't understand how someone can allow a person they don't know to become such an important figure in their life that they spend as much time as Betty telling people over and over again how much you dislike them.

I honestly don't get it. It's very strange, obsessive behaviour. Must be a few issues there.

FAIR enough, but you are talking about the most beloved British boxer ever - probably - who also happens to be a depressed suicidal alcoholic.

I think whining about his conduct post-fight is excessive, frankly.

Fans, fair enough, but every fight i've been to that involves a well supported fighter is like that.

This was the disappointing thing from Hatton. He should have shown a bit more class. As for Betty, this is prime Bettyswollocks. Back to his hateful, Hatton obsessed best. Just need scurla to jump in the thread now and it will be just like old times.

Fair shout, but I felt a bit horrible watching it though.

of course I have a point, just a lot of people on here are blinkered and don't want a bit of balance to the Hatton debates. The lack of respect for Shenckenko after the fight was an embarrassment, especially considering the tact he showed after ruining Hatton's big comeback night. Hopefully he got well paid.

I accept the '**** fight' argument is subjective though, i've just never enjoyed the frantic, lunging, fouling, mauling style of Hatton.

To be fair mate, Hatton was probably a bit pissed of with old Vyacheslav considering he'd just paid the bloke probably 500 grand to nip over, knock him out in front of his friends and family and send him off to the priory :rofl

So it's ok to be disrespectful as long as your popular? His depression doesn't mean it's acceptable either, I was as gutted as anyone to see him lose but you have to give credit where it's due. If Froch or khan had been like that they'd be rinsed on here.
