No, you talk in riddles and make vague statements/claims that you refuse to elaborate on. You like to give the impression that you know something, when you really don't understand basics.
My way of finding out what some people know, and if they have worked in sport.I will pm those people and explain. On the other hand bull****ters like yourself, I leave well alone, to many mistakes in there concept.
You're absolutely full of it. Coming from someone who actually works in elite sport. You're a loony boxing trainer trying to sell a vertical treadmill. You're stuck 30 years in the past, not the future. I'd be able to understand any concept if you could explain it properly. Blame your lack of ability to communicate effectively. You think weights are 'bad', that right there is enough to show that you're clueless when it comes to developing athletic/physical ability. And please tell us, what are you doing posting on the forum if you only communicate via pm?
Im replying to you am I not. Anything you dont understand ,it seems is *******s. There are better ways than weights, to improve athletic strength, endurance, simple. Its called progression, try it .
Plus been working in elite sport,40 years, across the board, met a few who have, who havent a clue, nothing surprises me. .
Yeah because you don't progress with weights, plyometrics, complexity of skills etc. etc. atsch I've never heard of this progression you talk about
No you haven't, you've trained a few fighters. You have no clue when it comes to actual elite sport and what the scientific literature says. You have no idea about basic concepts and your ideas you have are misguided based on what a ****ing osteopath told you. You're a quack who has nothing of substance to say on anything. Maybe you should focus on the boxing game instead of trying to step into areas where you're completely unqualified/uneducated. Go tell an anaerobic athlete that there are better ways to improve athletic strength (is that meant to be different than 'strength'?) than by lifting weights. You've been left far behind, there is simply no way to argue that lifting weights isn't beneficial for all athletes, regardless of their sport. If you think stretching, balance exercises and rubber bands can replace actual strength training then you are stupid. I wouldn't say anything but there are undoubtedly kids coming on this forum looking for advice to improve their game/physicality, and unfortunately they don't have the life experience or critical thinking ability to determine who is and who isn't credible. If someone follows what you say they are not just going to delay improvements, their ceiling is going to be lowered. That makes you a POS, even if you do believe rubber bands and vertical treadmills actually have anything to do with improving physical ability.
Ive worked with many sports, get your facts straight. Plus competed in lots. Osteopaths, are actually more aware of the human body, than anyone in the medical profession. As regards athletic strength there is a difference as regards total strength, as you should know its called time. You havent a clue the type of work i do, or implement it. Bands and vertical treadmills do improve fitness theres enough evidence now its overwhelming. If head lecturer on Sports Physiology at the biggest sporting uni, lets me and only me train His wife, or a leading sports Dr asks me to rehab His brother, must b e doing something right, dont you think.
No Osteopaths do not know more than MDs FFS. Strength is strength, if you're talking about rate of force development then you are talking about power (also based on strength), which is also primarily developed by lifting weights. What is 'fitness'? Fitness is a vague term that can mean anything, and it is very specific to the mode that develops it. That's why your vertical treadmill is useless for a healthy athlete. Again, you completely confuse rehab with performance. I'm sure your rubber bands, balance exercises and non-impact cardio is fantastic for certain clinical populations. For the healthy, athletic population it has no use, worse than no benefit - it will decrease performance. You need to get that through your thick skull.... Performance and rehab are completely different. You know nothing about training athletes to become better athletes. Stop sabotaging people on here with your ignorance.
Not on their own, the lats internally rotate the shoulder so it can exacerbate the problem unless they are performed with good mechanics of the shoulder blades. If they are aware of their shoulder blade movement it is unlikely they'd have a problem with their posture in the first place.
Ten years, only been here three, mind to become a qualified Osteopath, that takes ten years, wonder why.
