What takes your centre of gravity forward is the back foot, not the head. Plus to generate force on the front foot, the back foot is required, simple really. Plus angle of the lifted back foot to generate most force is between 15 and 25 degrees, that applies to the knees as well.

Mumbo jumbo rubbish! Do you mean to write that one can safely elevate the rear heel and hammer it into the floor without pushing off the lead foot first!

Heard that you were an drug addict with a needle in your arm... A whack job... Who was sent to the mentle hospital strapped to a gourney inside of a straight jacket all whilst screaming your head off inside the rubber room. Furthermore it was s**** that rehabilitated you.

Ive got to say,so was i.
You wouldnt be pushing off the front foot just dropping the rear heel and planting your feet.

S**** has in the past referred to it before as a falling downward action his buddy Greynotsoold says to fall backwards. describing it as being more powerful than sinking the rear heel in the ground and pushing off of the lead foot. Over the years I've taught this punch until I discovered the Lamon Brewster punch where the rear heel is elevated 15 to 25° Whilst the lead heel is touching the floor crank your shoulder to the left and push off the front. Unable download but check out Lamon Brewster on YouTube.

You really think I'm going to feel a need to prove myself to a guy who uses the word 'prooving'? Come on now, anybody who is even slightly educated can see who is legit and who is a loony. Try and relax a little, be skeptical and watch out for 'gurus'.

Fail to see the point! Unlike the cross the left hook lies in the transfer of weight from the front foot to the back foot!

Being Bipedal it has everything to do with it, the body works all or nothing. So because of eyesight, one side works more than the other there lies the problem, in all athletic movement. It can be overcome.

S**** but you need to bend the front knee forward to straighten out the back. Also when greys talks about falling backwards unto the right foot whilst executing the hook he is loosing power as the left hand travels past the right shoulder.
