i think my punches are not proper, or my wrists are too weak to handle the impact of the punches.

my left wrist hurt for about 3 mths before it recovered ( for this period i stopped throwing left hooks ) and now my right wrist is starting to get cranky.

it hurts when i do hooks and uppercuts , pushups, lift weights ( which i stopped since my left wrist got injured )

i wrap my hands each time i train, so i don't really know what else i can do to heal my wrists, can anyone give me some advise or solution?

See a professional if your wrists have been hurting for a while, carrying on is just going to make it worse.

Are you being serious? You've tried wrapping your hands but you don't get why it still hurts? How about you don't stress your wrists for a while and let them heal that way?

Doesn't anyone have any common sense on this forum anymore?

    LET
    THEM
    HEAL

That means not training for however long it takes to allow your body time to fix itself. If you continue to train while injured, you'll probably just make things worse.

    - No lifting.
    - No heavy bag drills.
    - No sparring.

    - You can probably get away with some shadowboxing though and some roadwork. But other than that, lay off anything that involves using your wrists. And that also means not jerking off for awhile.

Chances are, wrist sprain that took 3 months to heal needs a professional's opinion. That means, logging off ESB, dialing your physician and get a proper examination.

Yeah if they are hurting see a doctor. The with your training have an instuctor look at how your throwing your punches because they will be able to tell you if your throwing wrong. Also you might just have weak wrists and hands like many boxers do, like floyd mayweather, joe calzaghe off the top of my head.

If this is the case then start building your wrists / forearms up with weights and also work on speed instead of power.

okay, thanks, i'll visit a doctor this sat.

i throw my hook with my palm facing in, towards me.

i have a fight this coming 26 nov which makes things more complicated! i guess i'll endure till then and take a break from then on till it heals?
