[yt]WvmSE4JiCQs[/yt] This **** will get you pumped and make you wanna go train. Morales was a true champion, warrior, and fearless. His fights with the Pacman were amazing. He wobbled Pacman in southpaw stance.
Chi was a good fighter. Very solid beltholder. In 10 years the fab 4 of this generation is gonna be remembered as truly great fighters. Morales, Pacquiao, and Barrera have already left a lasting impression and I have a feeling Marquez is gonna be very dominant over the next couple years. I would say the featherweights of this decade are better than the welterweights of the late 90's.
Man Morales is only 32 years old. I thought we would still be watching him at the elite level now. It just goes to show you appreciate the great fighters while you can cause you never know when their last great fight is gonna be.
Yeah. And to think that around the late 1990's, among the big 4, Marquez was the biggest guy at the time. He was 126, the two other Mexicans was 122 and Manny was at 112, going 122. Marquez could have had a great head start on the other 3, legacy wise, at featherweight, if only he got some good breaks and good matchmaking/managing. Erik Morales was a gladiator. Fought to win and entertain.
Morales KO's him at featherweight 10 years ago and beats his ass while pounding some carne asadas today.
he could have easily beaten MAB at 130 but he wanted to win by KO.... zaragosa fight was one of my favorite morales fight
Morales could outbox Barrera, he did it for much of the 2nd fight but like you said he can't help but go to war. It is in his blood. Especially against Barrera
