can someone explain why he shifted to southpaw style in round 12 of pac-em 1...

i didn't get in..he turns southpaw counter puncher, does he have a chance knocking pacquiao with that style?

 

it pisses me off how few of these type of highlights of erik are made.

but man he was awesome that last round v pacman in the first fight when he turned southpaw shows his true colours. allways trying to entertain the people who pay his salary

 

he did it cause he new pacman needed a ko so he was basically saying you need a ko ? here you go come get it *****

 

Pacquaio couldnt stop Erik that night even when fighting southpaw. :yep
But he stopped Morales in the rematch.

Anyway, Morales was an awesome fighter and Boxing needs another Erik and quickly.

Morales was the most exciting fighter of his generation, true warrior with skills to burn.

Turning southpaw with a fight that big in the bag, taking such a risk is what Erik is all about.

Hope he`s successfull in his comeback attempt but I strongly doubt it.

Always a pleasure to watch the great man.

 

I think not including Barrera/Morales I is a school boy error, otherwise it is a very entertaining video. I think Morales was a great fighter.

He was trying to be entertaining and at the same time, give Pac the chance to KO him if he had it in him.

I think the post fight interview summed it up.

Erik- Did you like it?
Larry Merchant- Yes I did.
