Records in MMA aren't like records in boxing. With so many cans and the advantage of being able to cherry pick your opponents you can have a spotless records in boxing. The fight was boring but, that was werdums fault.

Both JDS and Cain beat Reem imo. Esp in a 5 round fight. Both stop his gassed out ass late.

Largely yes. Totally, no. Overeem offered little offense himself. Overeem spent a lot of that fight just looking at Werdum, or covering up from Werdum's pesky combinations. Overeem had landed virtually nothing 3 minutes into the fight, and ended up landing barely more than a knee to the body and a blocked hook to the head in the entire 1st round.

Werdum didn't do himself any favors with all that flopping around ****, but Overeem had opportunity to try and unleash something. It's not like Werdum was doing anything against the rules.

How do you reckon? Werdum has arguably the best ground game in the division - facing that threat of course your mind wont be as focussed on striking. Reem wont be anywhere near as preoccupied about being taken down against JDS/Cain.

Neither guy will survive into the later rounds to take advantage of the empty tank

Cain's a great wrestler. Werdum's the best in the world on the ground

    What are we misunderstanding?

Read it again. Read carefully. And rephrase "we" to "I", the "I" being you.

Or forcing you to think beyond a Grade 2 level and grasping some level of reading comprehension.
