Yep, this really looks like a scheme indeed. Not exactly ponzi related, because they have a different structure, but we can call it the "Alvason scheme" then.

 

Eleider Alvarez, while taking the step aside money, have fought J. Pascal and L. Bute, fights which drew 10,000 at least each, plus local PPV. Those were popular local names and Alvarez have made more money in those fight than he would have done if he would have taken the Stevenson fight (75/25), while taking step aside money, and while being able to stay mandatory. It was a win-win-win situation for him.

 

some thing like he takes on all comers. i kno ppl gunna say he ducked bivoli but he will fight him eventually. if it dont make dollars it dont make sense and stevenson in the fight he wants and the biggest fight out there so i dont blame.. but 5 fights in a row is pushing it.. .bute is not an incredible fight at the time he fought jack .. bute was all set losing all his big fights like he always has.
