Badou Jack v George Groves, prediction thread. Sept 12th. WBC 168 strap.

I did a RBR for it and the majority think Degale was robbed, or it was an extremely close fight. I'm doubting that you've watched it yourself if you think Groves clearly won.

 

I checked past threads and the scores are all over the place. You didn't watch it if you think Degale clearly won it then.

 

The unofficial scorecard had Degale winning I believe, and also several announcers. Sorry but if you had Groves winning you dont know how to score a fight :hi:.

 

The fact that you go by announcers shows YDKSAB. Those British announcers are bias as all hell. YDKSAB and YDKSA scoring a fight.

Also, checked it again. Jim Watt's scorecard was for Degale by 1 round, and here you say he clearly won it? :rofl

 

Yes for british boxers, but both of them are british so what's your point? Learn to score a fight plx.

Degale was the Olympic gold medalist, and if I remember, the favorite going into the fight. They were also very bias with Froch/Groves: II. One of the announcers was arguing with Khan when Khan said he thought Groves was winning the fight. They said Froch was dominating. atsch

So yeah, you need to learn how to score a fight.

 

What was your scorecard then? Tell me what rounds you scored. Btw I'm pretty sure another announcer had Groves winning so according to you it means absolutely nothing and it actually favors Degale right?

 

holy **** hansy boy I made that statement over a year ago, are you ever going to let that one go? i swear in 2050 you'll still bring that **** up. either way the only reason I scored it for Porter was because of the excessive record breaking holding. i was also semi-trolling because i was ****ed that Brook basically helds his way to victory and definitely should have had points taken off.

 

This is what I've said before the fight

That was again the key in this fight. Without the knock down he'd win the Jack fight. If he was a little more sturdier, he'd be undefeated by now and a fight with Ward would be a mega event. DeGale is in my opinion less skillful than Groves but far more sturdier, that's why he's the top dog in the division right now.

 

I still feel gutted for Groves. I really thought he would pull it off.

I'd like to add I think so many people have slaughtered Groves without giving Jack the credit he deserves. Back to back wins against Anthony Dirrell and Groves and was the underdog in both fights I believe.

So many people dismissed Jack on the basis of getting caught cold by Edwards 18 months ago, said he was chinny and would get blown away but he boxed very well, Jack coped with everything, Groves couldn't put a dent in him and Jack never looked like he got out of second gear in my opinion.
