It's a bit weird we haven't seen a poll yet, only hours away from the first big fight of the year.

James DeGale 23-1, 14KO's, IBF Super Middleweight champion from London England takes on Badou 'Jack' Nyberg 20-1-2, 12KO's, WBC Super Middleweight champion from Stockholm Sweden (now living in Las Vegas, USA) in a unification fight with the GBP Ring Super Middleweight belt on the line as well.

So, who's going to win, and why do you think so?

I'm leaning towards Jack, good body work and combos and he will have a few pounds on DeGale come tonight.

De Gale will win via decision. A margin of 4-6 points on the judges scorecards.

Jack is awkward enough to steal some rounds and see the final bell.

I would say Degeale if he didn't have that bad habit of tuning in and out. I see Degeale dominating for 3-4 rounds taking a couple rounds off then going back to work late in the fight.

Jack is good enough to exploit this.

Jack is not awkward at all. He is more technically sound than De Gale but that may be his downfall.

I expect a either a pretty close fight, that ends in a split or majority decision, or a domitating DeGale performance.
That sounds (reads) a bit off, but I think a lot has to do with how both show up tonight. DeGale can become sloppy sometimes, and Badou can fight on or just above his opponent's level. the question is, to what extend.

Jack wins the fight, and DeGale wins pimp game since his sister will be attending ringside with Mayweather.

Strongly fancy degale tonight - but what do people make of Pedraza-Davis? Tough!

I'm leaning towards a close points win for DeGale. I've had a little bet on it being a draw though - that's how close I see it.

    Degale

Jack is a solid SMW but I favour Degale

I would imagine most people are going to favor degale here. They are both solid but degale flashes more of the "it" factor. I expect him to win but really just want rock see a good fight here. 2017 we need to start it off right!
