According to an interview in a Swedish newspaper Jack says, win or loose, this is his last fight as a SMW. How do you think he will compete in the LHW division with Ward, Kovalev & Beterbiev? Also, will he go for the big names right away or take a few fights to get into it as Ward?
Even if loses why not stay at 168 and fight Zurdo ? Arum and Haymon do business together LHW woulb be a very though division for Badou. But probably its getting tough for him to make weight. All of the big boys at 175 will KO Jack fairly easily
Jack has a bad habit of standing straight up too much, which is asking to get knocked out at 175. Jack also has questionable power.
So what, he still KO's Jack cold in a round or two. As does, Kovalev, Gvozdyk, Smith Jr., Stevenson, Barrera etc. Light Heavies are on a totally different plain of existence from Super Middleweight, Beterbiev massacres everyone on Jack's resume in a few rounds as well.
Don't care. Just want to see Jack "The Ripper" fight someone with another serial killer nickname. Andre "BTK" Ward or Artur "The Russian Bundy" Beterbiev would be fine.
Didn't a SMW just move up and became the #1? (Even though the result is disputable, he atleast wasn't on a different plain of existence.)
Ward would comfortably beat everyone at SMW with one hand tied behind his back, and I was referring to this particular crop of SMW's not the one that Ward, Froch, Calzaghe and Kessler belonged to.
He won't be a top 10 Light heavy that's for sure. Light heavy is far far more stronger than Super middle... Jack is lucky he's been in a weak division.
