Wait, how does YouTube not have a single upload of Briedis vs. Gevor- wasn't that a major WBSS tourney bout?

I remember BadLeftHook and some other boxing media outlets thought Gevor was robbed, but really what he did was turn it into a sloppy foul fest. Which, yes, is more his "kind" of fight, but that doesn't mean he did more actual effective work than Briedis during the rare moments of clean boxing.

 

This has been all Mikaeljan since his point deduction.
Jack is being completely outworked here, and unlike in the opening rounds Mikaeljan is now landing at a good percentage.

Jack needs something big to turn this around.

I really DGAF if Mikaeljan gets robbed again... the Gevor style needs to die & disappear from the sport forever already. It's so awful to watch.

 

I don't care if the whole arena gets in a fight, no draw Paulie.

Badou can't get another freebie over Mikaeljan.

 

Jack's on his last legs; him winning just means some young lion can make their bones off his name in an at least quasi-entertaining bout.

Any outcome where a Gevor never laces up gloves again is a W, as far as I'm concerned.

No, it was a close fight up to the 8th round. And I disagree strongly with everyone here who has had it a shutout thus far, but Mikaeljan is absolutely way ahead at this point.

 

Yes but he imprinted his ring presence on him. I said in an earlier post, there might be a version of Mikaeljan in some alternate universe where he never fell into Khoren's orbit and never engages in any clinches/hits-on-the-break/rabbit-punches/headbutts/low blows. It's possible I might actually be a fan of his in that dimension.

 

All Mikaelyan has to do is stay on the outside and throw. Why the hell is he doing the punch and grab.
