If you start to score those kind of rounds as 10-8 then you have a lot 10-8 rounds in the future.

The perfect example of a 10-8 round without a KD is the seventh round of Wilder/Ortiz.

If any round was a 10-8, it was the 10th when Jack was hunched over the whole time.

i thought he looked in pretty bad trouble at a few points, during that round i remember thinking the fight could end any second. he was really hanging on until that body shot changed things.

The thing with draw rounds is really there never truly a draw round and I would then favor the champion in that instance.

I'm not a fan of a draw round bc one should determine who won or lost a round...I think it just adds to the confusion.

scoring a fight a draw is bc you are adding up rounds all together , I think not giving anyone a round doesn't exactly change the dynamic much imop.

10-9 was fine.. I didn't see any rounds where it would have warranted a 10-8 round.

The rules of boxing are already abigous and undefined enough and there is already enough subective criterias for me to disagree with that.

I could’ve scored it 10-8 but I would’ve never acted like it should’ve been the norm lol. You’re setting yourself up for major disappointment if you’re expecting judges to actually give that as a 10-8 round

I think a fighter needs to be hurt practically from bell to bell, staggering around the ring and not really throwing back much for a round to be called 10-8 without a KD. Otherwise there is too much room for subjectivity and not enough leeway for fighters to focus on recovery when they need to.
