Anybody giving any of the first 3 rounds to Pac is clearly biased. I could see the 12th to Pac. But you're just getting silly saying round 3 to Pac.

    Watch it again.
    Pac threw nothing.
Floyd started the 12 and came out and landed 3 hard 3 hands.
He moved and threw check hooks for most of the round.
And the last 15 seconds he moved around Pac throwing nothing because it was in the bank.

Seriously, this is it. Period. Manny did not do enough. Floyd controlled him and schooled him. No excuses.
I wanted Manny to win, just didn't happen.

That's what nullified Manny, Floyd had his number from the first round.
In fact, my Dad and I were looking at each other after the first and we both knew. Manny is going to have to make something happen. Manny didn't press for ****.

    I had it 7-5 Mayweather.

    Rds 2, 4, 6, 7, 10 for Pacquiao.

    Judges score on four criteria:

    1) Clean punching

    2) Ring generalship

    3) Effective aggressiveness

    4) Defense

In round 12, Floyd dictated the pace, style and terms of the exchanges and Manny half-heartedly followed him around. So Floyd gets ring generalship.

There wasn't much clean punching to give either the edge, so that one's a wash.

Manny's aggression was not effective. In fact, I'd argue that he wasn't even really aggressive.

And Floyd takes defense for making Manny miss when he did try to throw.

So to me, that's Mayweather's round.

If you want to call it even, I'd buy that, but make a case for Manny in round 12 based on the criteria on which judges are tasked to score the round.

This is how Floyd fights are scored:

    Start with 120-108 Floyd.
Change any round where the opponent clearly hurts Floyd.
    Make no other changes.

To me it is simple, if you are fighting at the other guys pace you are not going to get many close rounds. The judges felt Floyd controlled the fight and that is why the scores were wide. IMO, Floyd getting off to quick start set the framework in the judges mind. I thought Manny clearly won 4 and 6 only. There were probably a few rounds were Manny did better than he had been doing but he still didn't win those rounds. I could live with 116 -112. That was fairly generous to Manny actually.
