The dude has given 3 foty performances in 3 consecutive fights. Win or lose, the guys bagging him are doing it for different reasons and most of them not genuine ones.

Kat is a champ. The fact he got up after that first downing in the last round won him over in the minds of most people watching that.

But say ganoy beats Diaz he gets #1 Contedner so if Mike finds it hard to get a fight (doubt he would) be a good match to bring him back home for a fight.

Yeah I see where you're coming from, but I think there's plenty of bigger fights to be made for Mick. He won't struggle after that war to get on tele again

Kat made some very fundemental mistakes in there, the kid has the talent but he needs an American trainer like Buddy McGIRT to advance too bad he did not have a solid trainer before this fight, he was not ready and he still overcame. Shame, hope they dont ruin him with the rush

why does he have to be American? I think all the trainers are fine but he just needs to refine some parts of his style again such as the Jab which was totally missing tonight and the head movment.

If not for Running into that shot Kast would have won that bout in my opinion.People aren't taking into account that Kast can hit hard and has the heart of a lion.I live in the USA and people here want to see a rematch between him and Casa.I gurantee you Casa won't grant Kasa a rematch because in my opinion he wouldn't come out on top.
I think a fighter that hits hard and has a ton of heart is always a threat to anyone he fights and while Kasa won't have a long career due to his defence and style I think he will be involved in the lightweight division for a couple of years to come and when its all said and done I think he will win a title belt and be a very popular boxer.

Shame is there is really no one in Australia, who has been top shelf from there and who has been a great fighter. Fenech was good but it was not because of tecnique. There are some very good fighters from Australia and Canada and but there have not really been great teachers and all of those fighters have room for improvement. Kat could have been much better prepared, he was not ready for a southpaw and it was evident in the 1st round, still the kid came back( credit to him) I was rooting for him but the final punch happened because he forgot Casa was a southpaw and he walked strait into his powerhand.. 5 more fights with a Freddie Roach or Buddy McGirt and he would have stopped Casa, now he may be ruined

It was a great fight that had it all....lots of canvas eating, great bunches of shots by both guys and a real up and down fight.

I had rocky ahead by 1 or 2 rounds and nobody saw the KO coming including the fighters.

Rocky will be back and he will get the big fights again because of his heart and style.

Andrade and Steglitz was a great fight....both these guys went hard and both would give the aussie SMW hell.

Dib almost lost because of his play acting and show boating in the last 60 seconds....just fight Billy....leave that stuff for after the fight.

I read the main board to get the latest news but really the closest most of the yanks on there have come to participating in a fight is getting slapped around by their sister as a child.

Unfortunately there's many so called boxing fans that let their prejudices cloud logical thinking.

I also find it bemusing that there are those on this website that claim Mick can't box or fight and lacks class but then again one only has to look at the Mundine threads to see how unobjective some people are.

Personally I thought Mick was great and hurt Joel constantly with great body and head shots. For a guy that can't box he landed a wonderful three puch combo to Joel's head in the 4th that rocked him bigtime and it was a brutal body shot that set up the combo that sent Joel through the ropes.

Not bad considering Joel was an Olympic gold medalist that has gone on to win titles in multiple weight divisions, but I guess any bum is capable of that....NOT.

I believe he'll come back and hopefully the KO wont stop him from being his aggressive usual self.
