October sixth at the KSK Arena in St. Petersburg, Russia. Ten rounds scheduled at heavyweight. They have no professional common opponents, but a few in the amateurs: Maxim Igorevich Babanin - lost to Kudukohv in 2010 and defeated him in 2018, lost to Jalolov in 2019. Ivan Yurievich Veryasov - lost to Kudukhov in 2013 and defeated him in 2017, lost to Jalolov in 2014 & 2021. Kudukhov is kind of a one hit wonder in both amateur boxing and the pros - with a victory over Filip Hrgović in the former and Guillermo Jones in the latter. Not exactly the step up heavyweight fans have been demanding of Jalolov.
Jalolov will have a six inch height advantage. Throughout his pro career his opponents average no less than half a foot less, usually giving up between 7 and 8". The single opponent his own size has been Nigerian glass cannon Onoriode Ehwarieme.
