    To me this is effectively quitting pro boxing and shows a poor mindset. Knows his minerals are not big enough chasing medals with no real value. When he steps up as a pro he knows he is getting chinned like that Russian bloke against Kabayel. Jacked it from a croatian journeyman.

    Any promoter worth their salt would be all over any HW prospect with potential. They have plenty in the bag to invest in these kind of fighters. Ditch his current promoters and get with the brits.

    If that's true, that's a shame. I don't know what's happening with boxing today, when we haven't even found out how much a boxer like this is worth.

    Surely theres better money focusing totally on the traditional pro ranks as opposed to the olympic style?

    I dont say amateur anymore because the IBA is now outwardly and openly professional, but still...

    True. Top Rank has done a very poor job for their East European/Central Asian boxers such as Mekhontsev and Korobov, although they are doing a great job for Anderson.
    No. That's what Fury has done in the past. Why do you hate everybody not named Fury?

    They have to resources to push a hype job like Makhmudov, but they can't push a talented Olympian like Jalolov?

    Unfortunately, the Americans and the British get plenty of chances, and Jalolov is too dangerous for everyone and does not bring profit...
