    No.

Parker is still on a good run. Parker needs to fight Hrgovic or Dubois. Or Kabayel though that is unlikely.

If Parker can beat a Hrgovic type, it sets him up to take on the winner of Usyk-Wardley. Assuming the Usyk-Wardley fight is a clear win for Usyk, if Parker can beat a Hrgovic or Dubois, it sets Parker up for a potential Usyk fight next year.

Bakole has done nothing. He arguably lost to Ajajba. Parker is still the third best contender behind Wardley and Kabayel. Parker does not need a Bakole fight and a second Bakole win does nothing for Parker.

    No thanks.

    Bakole on form beats him

He unsettled Parker with a single jab in that first round popped his nose. Bakole boxing to a plan and fit, taking Parker to the mid rounds where his power zaps is the golden zone.

    Pointless.

Bakole showed nothing in their fight to suggest he deserved a rematch and waited until Parker lost before asking for one.

Bakole has lost his boogeyman aura; he also doesn't bother keeping in shape between camps, which is shaving years off his prime. No rematch needed, but he shouldn't have taken that fight on 2 days' notice.

He lost his contendor aura because of his fatness

A full camp of McDonalds if we judge by the version of Bakole that showed up at 300 pounds, only 15 pounds less than the Parker fight. Compare him to the 284 pound Bakole that battered Anderson and it’s honestly night and day.

He gains aura from his fatness, like Fury and Galento did.

Bakole has not been fit since 2020... He had a full camp for Anderson and barely got to 284. We also know that he had started camp shortly before taking the Parker fight at short notice, for which he weight in at 310. Then two and a half months later he was 299 against Ajagba.
And this is him 2 days ago.

I would be genuinely surprised if Bakole is anywhere near 284 for his next fight.

Bakole doesn't have the power like Wardley, even if he went into the fight more prepared, Parker should win because he's the better fighter overall...

A lot of people on this forum really thought Bakole would be something…

Proven to be a complete hype job.

He could still be something but he took a fight on 24 hours notice that he shouldn't have then fought Abajajajaja in a close fight again not in optimal condition. Bakole struggles the same as Agit in not having enough activity but Agit does get in good enough shape for his bouts.

Can't write Bakole off yet although I don't believe he's 32 years old, more like 36. If Parker & Dubious can make their way back from the losses they've had then Bakole sure can although he's way too high risk reward for most.

Bakole would have to earn it first. There's better options for Parker than going backwards.
