Tbf, didn't have a training camp, but still I expected him to do WAY better. His chins quality was kind of an unknown, but I still didn't expect him to fold from one big shot against Parker.
He didn't have a full training camp, but credit to Parker he landed a hell of a shot that sealed the deal.
Chill guys. It was actually pretty smart by Bakole. He got a huge paycheck for sure and will be underrated from now on. Now they will want Bakole for thrir next uprising star and Bakole gonna show his greatness again + another good payday
25 pounds overweight, no camp. 2 days notice. Didn't even have time to recover from the long haul flight. He plodded straight into a 265 pound Parker and prayed his chin would hold up. Turns up it didn't and nobodies chin would hold up to a fresh Parker overhand right. Bakole fought the right fight....better than trying to box long then gas out in 4 rounds.
Yep. Great shot. Bakole has to keep the weight in check. Don't do that Fury balloon stuff between fights. I'm just having fun in this thread but honestly I give him credit for taking the bout.
Hardly exposed... He took it on 2 days notice, 0 prep, flew in the night before the fight, jet lagged, out of shape... Cut him some slack
Look, he came in with zero preparation. But then when your defence is to take flush shots to land your own, eventually you'll get exposed. It was true for Joyce and again it's shown to be true with Bakole.
I mean he got stopped in two. Can't say he gave a good account. But yeah, at this level, you can't just not train and beat a top fighter who's been working his ass off.
He looked in much worst shape than I thought as soon we saw him with his top off. He had 2 days notice, didn't arrive until 2am in the morning last night after a 10-12 hour flight, was likely jet-lagged and this 267lb version of J-Park hits like a truck. There are many mitigating circumstance here. I feel bad for him
