These match makers know what they’re doing, they knew Anderson’s power wouldn’t bother big Bakole.

Dubois would make mince meat out him. Usyk, Joshua and Itauma would beat him.

Just rewatched the fight, was a pretty entertaining fight. I literally don't get why Anderson decided to go southpaw at times whenever he had success which was pretty much only when he was fighting an orthodox stance. Whenever Anderson went southpaw, he would absolutely get battered upon and pushed back into the ropes, very poor ring IQ.

Bakole is a dangerous fighter but I do think he is a tad overrated here. As for Bakole and him getting tagged a lot, Bakole just absolutely big manned Anderson there and had very little respect for his power - but yes Bakole's defence is pretty suspect and does get hit a lot. It's hard to gauge how good his chin is ATM, because of the Hunter fight and that Bakole hasn't fought any big punchers yet. One thing I note is that since Bakole has put extra weight on, up about 40 pounds from the Hunter fight, he seems to be a lot more effective these days along with his chin. I really hope we can see some good fights for Bakole in the pipeline this year and especially some big punchers that can test his chin.

Out of interest. @Soi Six who you think would win between Bakole and Itauma yourself?

They bounced off him, he was rocking Anderson with every punch, he may have got hit, but the fight wasn’t competitive.

He's a more talented Joyce. But probably doesn't even have as good a chin as Joyce. Once he fights a big hitter that can take some of his punches, he'll get folded like a lawn chair. He thinks he can walk through anything and will be sorely mistaken.

Anderson fought his ass off in this fight, but Bakole was too big and too strong for him. Reminded me of Riddick Bowe vs Herbie Hide match.

Bakole is not slick, he`s just tough and powerful and has a good reach.

Bakole did take a lot shots. He is a beast.

There are very few HW boxers who've been able to have top level careers by eating punches as a strategy.

You have to have a defense at that level. If Bakole can tighten up his defense and only take the shots that slip through, he'll have a real good career.
