Knew there was no way he should come off the street like that against a fully trained and conditioned Parker. Horrible decision, and predictable, although the way he lost was so memorable it will forever shatter his image of this indestructible boogie man.
He needs to fight Zhang and Moses Itauma, that would be a quick way back, and they would face him. Seems like such a nice guy, hate to see any of these guys lose.

Ajagba is really stiff and basic.

If Bakole can't beat Ajagba, he's never going anywhere.

Point is - it’s not a foregone conclusion. We don’t know much more about Bakole (and what we do know after tonight hardly burnishes his reputation) than we do about Ajagba. So it seems foolish to write him off - he’s as legit a contender as Bakole is at this point.

Yeah when you’re a pro, part of it should be be watching what you eat, watching the scale, and maintaining a good base level of fitness. Most of the little guys do this without issue. Some heavyweights do (you don’t see AJ or Dubois looking like whales between fights).

Yeah the lack of professionalism by some heavyweights between fights is shocking. Especially for someone in his position who was always a fighter on the outside looking in and trying to get opportunities to fight the top guys simply were not happening no matter what he did. Compared to Josh Padley who kept himself in shape between fights so was able to make weight and put in a decent performance against Stevenson.

Padley was outclassed but I’d say his stock went up. Showed that he’s a true warrior. He deserves another money fight for subbing in and going so balls out, so willing to go out on his shield.

whatever he does for the rest of his life, no man can ever call him a *****. Because he ain’t. He’s got balls of steel.

Bakole will make easy work of Ajagba who is effectively like a younger Wilder.

Hopefully Tubby McCustard of the Congo employs a conditioning coach.

Wikder was a hype job, very limited boxer that beat tin cans and never beat anyone decent. Anderson is better than Ajagba and Bakole delt with him with ease.

He should be fine against Ajagba as long as he has time to put on a little more weight. His problem against Parker is that he came in too light from overtraining. This can occasionally happen with fitness conscious fighters like Bakole.

Are you suggesting Bakole was outclassed before he got starched? In what way?

Lasting less than two rounds is neither “saving the co main event” nor is it “holding your own”

Bakole should win this. I would actually favor Ajagba over someone like Kabayel because of styles, but Kabayel would school Bakole
