This would be a fantastic fight, but for now I would still choose Zhang because it seems to me that he is more lethal in the early rounds, but if Bakole manages to drag him into deep waters then Bakole could also win, all in all I hope that this fight will be realized...
I think it would go like the Joyce fight. Bakole would be more active but Zhang would definately land some destructive bye-bye-bombs in the first 4 rounds and end the fight, it wouldn't even be a technical KO
I like both guys, but if have to put money on it then I would say Zhang. Marching foward toward Zhang with a leaky defence is a recipe for disaster; Zhang will land incapacitating bombs that could get Bakole out there or leave him on ***** street for much of the fight. TBF to Bakole, if he manages to navigate the first few rounds without taking much damage then he definitely has a shot at taking out a fatigued Zhang late on.
Yes sir, I been advocating for this fight since the completion of Martin's terrific performance vs Anderson. Would be a bruising fight no doubt. I'd take Bakole tho tbh. Age on his side, both same height. Virtually mirror imagine in weight, shape and form. But I feel having age, along with a better gas tank then Zhang, and on top of that he hits very hard and clean. Zhang early KO in Joyce rematch fashion. Bakole is cement footed and I only picked him against Anderson cos I knew Anderson doesn't hit heavy. Bakole CANNOT bully Zhang the way he did with Anderson
I'd favour Zhang, he's craftier with his shots and Bakole's pressure style will likely walking him into a counter. Bakole will need a chin as good as Hrgovic or Parker for him to get out of those early rounds.
Billy Nelson pretty much confirmed in an interview today that this fight is happening on the Usyk vs Fury II card in December. Can't wait.
