It looked problematic to make Kabayel/Zhang vs Bakole. I know we already talked about Arum's terrible freeze out for Jalolov, but this is a really good fight. 1) big test for Jalolov 2) Bakole would not be a bigger man for the first time 3) volume and hard punches (Bakole) vs silky movement and skills (Jalolov) How would this fight go? They would be a perfect undercard fight like Hrgovic vs Zhang was on Usyk-Aj event.
Jalolov does not like pressure based on what i have seen in the amateurs. My guess is Bakole will go after him and stop him in the first six rounds. If Jalolov can keep distance with his relatively quick feet for a big man and nuclear missile of a left hand, Bakole will get tired as the fight progresses. Bakole, like Zhang, Fury and Ruiz Jr, carries too much weight to sustain that pace for the full fight. IMO Jalolov is too unproven to be favoured over Bakole. Then again Bakole himself doesn't have some deep resume. One win over a unproven prospect doesn't make Bakole the next George Foreman. Bakole 60/40 for me. I think he stops Jalolov in six. If it goes past it, Jalolov should win a decision or late stoppage.
I had a high opinion of Jalolov, but not anymore, he doesn't have a winning mentality, it's easy to win Olympic gold when you have professional experience and when you're already developed as a fighter, Bakole would crush him, even Itauma would knock him out because he's not afraid of challenges and is a fighter better...
He is a man fighting young boys in the amateurs. I can understand wanting to win the 2020 Olympic Gold but once you have done it, its time to fully dedicate yourself to the pros. Good lord. Its like Felix Savon knocking out a teenage David Tua. It looks cowardly. Savon didn't have a choice but Jalolov does.
This is very interesting topic. My theory will be an analogy: If anybody watches German football Bundesliga, there is a titan team Bayer Münich "multiple Germany and Champions League Champion". Everytime when there is a danger from good another German team in Bundesliga, Bayern buys their best players, because they have money. Then there is no strong rival. I almost feel that Arum got Jalolov to protect US fighters like Torrez junior. That's a monopoly strategy. Arum did this several times. I feel Arum is not a good human. We need Jalolov to make statement what is going on. If he is not ambitious or if he is a victim of dirty politics. If anything Uncle Frank and Edward protect their fighters. Jalolov is a boxing tragedy case. Turki let's go!
Based on Joyce vs. Jalolov (although Jalolov was more inexperienced), Bakole would completely destroy Jalolov
