Is it possible that Bakole isn’t really sure how old he is? If he was born in rural Congo and his folks aren’t around anymore, seems possible. Especially if he didn’t finish school, given that he was probably over 6ft and 200lbs by like age 12, could be difficult to figure out if he was just working and living basically as an adult.
On an interview a few weeks ago (talksport) he said an age that doesn't stack up with his date of birth that is on the various websites. can't remember what he said. It was like one year out. He was with billy nelson being interviewed.
He could be anywhere in his 30s and I wouldn't be surprised. It shouldn't matter too much in a practical sense anyway as people are different at each age. Could affect his marketability though.
For me age doesn't matter too much as long as you have the physical tools and your recent form to make up for it.
