One of the most important in boxing.

Which fighters were the most perfectly balanced?

I dont know, forgive if i get something badly wrong here, but Arguello? Was he balanced good? Is that something that allowed him to time the devastating power-shots like that

I know some1 who shouldnt be mentioned - Ken Norton! But like Ferdie Pacheco said on the first Ali-fight, he used that in a weird way that seemed to work for him. Great really, in that fight anyway

Napoles is a great pick, that poise he had, great, and he just threw the smoothest of hooks and uppercuts free-flowingly from that stance, great pick.

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad hardly ever seemed to relinguish control of the center line.

    Harada.

Excellent balance amidst a swirling attack and great footwork.

    Argello is an intersting pick.

If we were to differentiate between posture and balance I would agree. Arguello sometimes seemed shaky on his feet. Yet, his upper body posture was erect and composed, almost eloquent.

His base however, probably due to his height at the weight, seemed unsteady at times though to me.

................I too have noticed this unsteadiness, but I have found it to be more prevalent in his later fights. HIs featherweight and junior lightweight showings aren't as stiff-looking.

Wilfred Benitez, Gene Tunney, Henry Armstrong, Mike Tyson, Roberto Duran, JC Chavez... in their primes of course.

You are right balance tends to go with the territory of being a GREAT fighter.
