I doubt Bute would want any part of this. Bika and Miranda would give it a go though. I have not seen the Froch fight, but I think Taylor needs to pack it in for his health and family.
The only replacement that would be viable would be Bute, but didn't they say last Saturday that he/his team priced him well out of the market?:think Can't see him accepting less to come in as a replacement, especially since he know's he would have the organisers by the balls. Bika, Miranda and Green would be just making up the numbers really, if they came in. Andrade might be a decent pick; he'd give some of the fighters problems, but would probably be beat pretty easily by others (ie: Kessler already won a lopsided decision over him). Can't really agree with Barry's comments about the Kessler - Froch bout. I think Kessler will **** Carl up, probably stopping him sometime between round 6 and round 10.
On reflection perhaps balanced wasn't the correct adjective :good I'm always interested to read Bazza's perspective though and in my experience he's usually fairly accurate with his predictions.
Pity, I'd love to see how Bute would fare in this Tournie. Good boxer, with a lot of heart. I'm not sold on his stamina and chin though. Jury is still out on that so far as I'm concerned.
Some fair comments. Not sure Dirrell will be any more convincing against Abraham than he was against Froch though. Froch's work-rate was cut down againt Dirrell, so he's not even got that in his favour. When Abraham attacks Dirrell will be similarly negative. Kessler might give Froch a chance, problem is Froch is going to expose himself, but this time he's going to get nailed by a real puncher not a powder puff guy. He's going to hit the canvas.
