There's no such thing as "balanced" hate, the haters are haters, whoever is out there they will say he's ducking and if he wants <whoever> then it's a fraud fight and he's ducking <insert new random fan club hype here>.

The criticizers are the logical ones, the people that demand certain fights for the purpose of either major events, legacy or entertainment. The majority of those want to see Mayweather fight good enough opponents, or lets say take a risk as big as the risk Marquez took when he fought him and that's understandable.

As far as I remember many claimed they wanted the Mosley fight more than the Pac fight, as soon as the Pac fight talks broke down and they went for Mosley the same people are saying he's ducking Pac. That group is the ******ed one and easily spotted.

Now he's fighting Mosley, the best welterweight according to all and majority of officials who also picked Margarito as the official #1 going in against Mosley, and it's also his SECOND fight with a #1 welterweight in this division. If all goes well he sure as hell will fight good enough opponents after it, whether it's Pacquiao or not it will be a big enough name/threat like Mosley is.

    Margarito - Ducked

Everyone else shyt is just boxing politics, business, and just circumstances for BOTH fighters...not just Floyd.

Arum would only offer the fight on the premise that Floyd had to resign with Top Rank and the DLH fight out of the picture.

There was no point in fighting Margarito when there's an official #1 Welterweight out there and it's not Mayweather's fault Margarito did nothing to capture that spot.

  8. See even by your own admission there are different and more respectable groups of Mayweather haters. I believe I'm in the group that has some common sense... Wherever the nuthuggers decide to lump me in. Eh whatever.

His lack of class and respect is what people hate about him. Also he has ducked SOME, not all, competition at time.

His resume is still very nice and he is one of the best fighters to ever lace up a pair of gloves. I will give him that much.

Arum said while Mayweather would have taken the $8 million to fight Margarito, he asked for a $10 million guarantee to fight opponents such as Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton, when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

Arum said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said. "He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."
