On the tactical side of what he's saying, it's nice to finally have some confirmation of my own observations on Pacquaio. I've gotten literally none from anyone elsewhere. I see what Floyd sees, but it does strike me that he talks about Pacquiao, somewhat, in an outdated sense, but I've noticed that Roach has been doing that with Hatton as well. It gives the direct impression they weren't overly impressed with the Malignaggi and De La Hoya fights, or possibly other performances, and I know many of us feel the same way.
I know Smitty never says or draws out anything remotely "groundbreaking" but I always like these segments. Hell, I think he put together one of the few pieces I can remember that made PBF come across like just another hard working fighter instead of some whiny little kid. Then there was the one where he had Hopkins "show" him how to get over on refs...
I don't have a problem with the segments. They are very enjoyable and truly do some good for boxing. Just saying that he's a little...strong to say the least.
