Well after hearing the news that Haye looks likely to be taking on Vitali next summer you have to say that if the fight comes off, win or lose Haye has certainly shown he has some bottle to even contemplate this match up after only one real fight at the weight (i dont count the Bonin fight).

I also think Wladimir looks kind of like the wet blouse at school getting his big brother to deal with the boys who pick on him.

Surely after all the mouthing off Haye has done regarding Wlad you would think he would be chomping at the bit to get him in the ring and teach him a lesson :-(

    Definitely balls of steel.

And if Haye carries on hyping as he's doing, bags of gold too.

Wlad fought at the weekend and has a mandatory waiting, if Haye wanted the shot sooner rather than later then it had to be Vitali.

Although no-one would've blamed Haye for waiting to take on Wlad instead...

Then he risks taking another fight and getting KO'd, I'd say taking Vitali was calculated risk. "A bird in the hand..." and all that.

Vitali has a mandatory aswell, i just get the impression that Wlad doesnt fancy the job which is a shame as Haye vs Wlad could be a real decent fight which could have went either way in my opinion.

Exile, why don't you count the Bonin fight? It was a legitimate HW fight v the #11. HAye showed his power again. Harrison who is 6'6, 250lb couldn't come close to doing what Haye did.

Dont get me wrong, Haye was quality against Bonin but there is no way on earth that Bonin should ever be close to the top 10 in any sanctioning body and i might be wrong but wasnt Bonin brought in at late notice to replace someone?

At the time Haye was still a cruiser and continued that way afterwards. He is now a fully fledged bulked up heavyweight.

I wouldnt class Enzo vs Ellis as a legit HW fight either.
