    I think people had there doubts over whether he was elite before that, hence a lot predicted he would have got destroyed.

    Ima pick a few more.....


    What about, Paulie Malignaggi vs Miguel Cotto? even though he didn't win, he showed substance, that down the road if he got another shot, that he would learn a lot from that experience and be able to call on that toughness in the future.

    I dont know, could we use Mayweather's fight Burton? I mean Mayweather had already won a title, but it might of been the first time he had, as a pro, had to dig down deep and call on any potential substance he had beyond his Boxing skills.
