After Karoly Balzsay's late stoppage of Dmitri Sartison last weekend talks have begun for a mandatory defence against WBA no.1 contender Brian Magee with either Denmark or Belfast the proposed venue location and the bout maybe falling in late June.

Obviously and I hope everyone recognises this as not really a genuine world title fight but it a great opportunity for Brian to earn a good few paydays, providing that he wins so good look to him.

I think it's a winnable fight having watched a few of Balzsay's performances but he would have to be at his best, how do you guys see this one panning out come fight night??

Good match-up and will help the WBA go from 3 World champions to 2 lol.

Pretty much a pick'em fight and should be fun.

Balzsay beats Magee, won't be a walk in the park though.

    Come on big Karoly!

So happy he's strung together a good couple of wins, against Kashtanov and now Sartison, 2 decent opponents. I reckon he'll beat Magee too, good fight though.

  5. It's not for the WBA super middleweight title

Another one to look forward to: a competitive matchup between two very good fighters. :good

Neither is an elite boxer, but they both have decent skills and warrior hearts.
