Balzsay vs Sartison is on, date is April 21st. Another indication of Ward vs Magee?

    Now that Universum has given their go-ahead on this matchup -for the 'regular' WBA title- it seems that Magee is well positioned for a Ward clash.

    This IS the kind of "easier homecoming fight" Goosen wanted for Ward when he declined Interbox's offer for a Ward-Bute fight in Oakland back in late December. I know Ward fans might be disappointed a bit, but I personally think this will be a good scrap...


    ...it's also a way for Ward to prepare for Bute. Magee is a body-punching southpaw!!!!

    I'm calling it, May 19th or 26th in Oakland. :deal

    I would be surprised if Magee got this fight but I hope he does he deserves another payday and has been a great ambassador for Irish boxing through the years .

    Yes he has been. I doubt he has a good chance at winning it, though I see him giving Ward fits early on.
