As a big Mayorga fan (both his fighting and trash-talking), speaking only for myself here - I like his trash-talking until it crosses the line, as it did with Spinks.

There is only so far one should go to promote a boxing match, and Mayorga has gone further a few times.

 

Guy is pumped, let him do his thing.

 

Can you imagine if Mayorga and Rios were near enough in weight to meet up?

Ricardo would have a ****ing field day with Brandon's war cry.

It is annoying when he does it more than once, because he dosn't do it right. But he's pumped and he's winning, so he can do it as many times incorrectly that he wants.

It's better than watching Cintron do that maricon dance, I think it was after the Martinez fight.

 

It's unique... something that people will remember him by. It will only be a good thing for him in terms of selling himself to the public

I think it's pretty cool. When Rios did it, it the first time I'd ever heard it and, at first, I wondered what the **** he was doing but now, I listen out for it. It's certainly unique in boxing.

:deal It's basically a Mexican war/death cry that goes back to Native Americans and Mexicans picked it up. They usually do it now as a sign of celebration. I think it's cool, but Brandon can get alittle carried away with it.:nono
