The majority of people see this as a 50/50 fight and to be honest it seems more often than not Junto is viewed as the favourite. However, I really do think that Bam is a level or two above Junto and would win in a far more dominant fashion than people think is possible.
I'm not confident enough in the outcome to pick a winner but I think you are underestimating Junto (at least relative to Bam's recent opponents); Sunny Edwards, Estrada, SSR etc are no preparation for Junto's power and size, as well as the speed and boxing ability he has to go with it.
I think Junto could be a real problem for any small weight fighter including Bam. The height, reach, skills, and power would be a danger even for a talented fighter like Bam.
Junto's not an old man on his last legs, nor a loud-mouthed featherfist who is physically smaller than Bam.
Bam gets KTFO. Junto finds that underbite chin of his and stops him while he's mid Loma impersonation.
You can *maybe* make a case for Bam being more talented (athletic) than Junto, but a level or two above? I do a lot of drugs, but even I wouldn't come out with a take this wild. Also, did you forget that Bam was taken into deep waters by Christian and Israel Gonzalez?
I don't think anyone below 118 can beat Nakatani and that includes Bam. Rodriguez is a southpaw and he uses it to his advantage, but Nakatani is also a southpaw himself. It's going to be a southpaw battle, with Nakatani having a height, reach and power advantage. Nakatani is nightmare for Bam and he knows it. I think Nakatani wins by KO.
Let’s see this fight happen this year. Junto and Bam are both in their primes and it can go either way. If Junto manages to get past Bam then the fight with Inoue would be even bigger and more significant.
