I don't care what the "substance" turns out to be, the fact remains that he loaded his gloves with the intent to seriously hurt his opponents. That's known as assault outside of boxing and there should be a criminal investigation and charges brought against him.

A year suspension is an insult to the sport, its fighters, and its fans. Loading gloves could kill someone and I feel Margarito is getting off extremely easy. I also feel a lifetime ban is in order here.:-(

 

Freddy only feels that way because Margarito is Mexican. If this was Cotto or Mayweather Freddy would be writing letters to the CSAC asking for a lifetime ban.
