Bank on it, Jacobs will give away his regular trinket rather than fight GGG

Everybody knows, even him that he's gonna get KTFO by GGG and lose. Quillin dropped his trinket when he had to defend it against Korobov.

Sadly Ive got to agree with you. I really thought Danny was the one 160 pounder that had the stones
to challenge Gennady Golovkin. Whats happened to boxing? It used to be every fighters dream to be a world champion today its be a prima donna talk trash & wimp out it seems

    Wouldn't be surprised.
Seems like so many he either wants to get grossly overpaid, or walk the other way and fight pushovers instead.

He doesn't have a belt Golovkin can win. Golovkin altready is the actual WBA champ, and Jacobs only has a secondary trinket.
Jacobs will just get stripped of the #1 contender position.

Golovkin vs Billy Bob Saunders would be an unification, this is just the champion and his #1 challenger

If anyone's going to chicken out, it's GG, he has a history of dropping belts to avoid mandatories with a pulse

It was retorical, you'll never see GG hand over one of his titles giftwrapped and then bend over like a good boy

David Lemieux, who actually had a real belt, did go with GGG and he wants to do it again, thinking he can do better the next time around. Besides GGG, he is the only one 160 worth paying attention for at this point. All the other guys are happy getting a bit of money, while not trying to be the best.

Man, if you get to fight the likes of Quilling for 1.5m then why fight Golovkin?

When he says "do better" does he mean he would actually take a round this time?

I want to see Lemieux vs Curtis Stevens more than any other fight not involving Golovkin in that division.

Of course he will drop it. It's not worth ~1.5 million to end your career. Gennady WILL end his career if he does step up.

Sadly , BJS is asking stupid money just like Jacobs but at least Saunders has a real title.
