I've seen those videos, and its irrelevant to the post. Banks and Abel both agreed that GGG needed to fight more aggressive.
He said what a lot of people thought, GGG should have been chasing after Canelo and not gave him any space. From the camp so far , it looks like G is focusing on being more aggressive. I don't know if G can knock him out, cause Canelo has a hell of a chin , but i bet he can change some of that perception of Canelo walking him down.
Sanchez: Gennady, you need to push Canelo back, throw more than one punch, be more aggressive. GGGoons: Abel Sanchez sucks as a trainer, terrible advice, glad GGG got rid of him. Banks: Gennady needs to impose himself on the smaller fighter, throw more than one punch, be more aggressive. GGGoons: I love how Banks is straight forward and gives GGG the advise he needs. lol
Barely any body punches by GGG in both fights and there's a reason for that. He needs to take that risk and dig to canelos body in the third figt
Lmfao so all of the sudden you know more than gggs trainer?? He got backed up the whole fight, period
Surprise surprise!! GGG should have went with Roach or even Robert Garcia. Said it from the beginning.
When he took over head trainer for Wlad... things started to go more south. Guaranteed if Steward had stayed alive Wlad would have retired with those belts.
"My question is when you told Gennady that he was losing the fight in between rounds, did you have a sense that he was losing or were you trying to will him into being more aggressive and taking more risk? IAmAbelSanchez I thought it was an even fight up to that point honestly. But the reason I said that, I whispered it into his ear so it was more for him, even though I was miked, I wanted it to be a motivational thing, to try to distance himself." https://www.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comments/9gol09/i_am_abel_sanchez_trainer_to_gennady_ggg_golovkin/ Oh, darn, Shadow's favourite clip destroyed.
