Bantam champion - winner of Montiel/Donaire vs. winner of bantam tourney JWW champion - winner of Khan/Maidana vs. winner of Alexander/Bradley SMW champion - winner of S6 tournament vs. Lucian Bute Who resulting from the above fights would you consider as more impressive and would rank higher P4P?
To give some scenarios: Bantam champion - Donaire wins convincingly against Montiel then goes on to win against the winner of the bantam tourney JMW champion - Bradley wins convincingly against Alexander then goes on to win against the winner of Khan/Maidana SMW champion - Ward wins the S6 tournament then goes on to win convincingly against Lucian Bute Who would you rank higher P4P as a result of the above - Donaire, Bradley or Ward, assuming all three right now are ranked top 15 P4P?
Considering that Donaire is already in some ppl top 10 p4p and the ring top5 p4p... probably him But there are so many variables that it's almost impossible to say. For example: What if Froch wins s6 or what if Johnson wins? Johnson would not be better p4p material then Ward who's younger or Froch who had the hardest route. What if Maidana beats Kahn? what if Donaire v Montiel it's a draw? or a questionable SD?
All valid arguments. Let's just use the scenarios I mentioned, where Donaire, Ward, and Bradley all come out with convincing wins. Donaire and Bradley are currently in the Ring's top 10, while some has Ward in their top 10. But all three are not widely or universally accepted as top 10 P4P.
Donaire I would say as Montiel is also a top P4Per and the Bantam tourney winner would have a good argument for being in the top 10.
If Donaire beats Montiel, that alone is the biggest victory out of the 3. Plus if he goes on to fight the winner of the tourney (probably Mares), he is unquestionably a top 5 p4p fighter
Let's see: Donaire - Montiel (top 10) and Mares after bantam win (top 20) Ward - Froch (top 15) and Bute (top 20) Bradley - Alexander (top 25) and Khan after beating Maidana (top 20)
