Bantams - Olivares or Zarate?

    Oh, I don't think Zamora was as skilled or as great as Olivares.

    I just feel that he's somewhat underrated.

    I think Zarate was great, but I think Olivares at his peak (67-71) was outstanding. Even past his peak when the booze caught up with him he could still pull out some great performances even coming back from some crushing defeats. It would have been interesting to have seen Zarate carry on after the Pintor fight. We could of found out if there was more to him. Gomez again, Danny Lopez and Salvador Sanchez could all of been great fights. Forget the late comeback.

    I agree, 28-0, all ko's when he fought Zarate. ko2 over Pedroza, and an olympic silver medallist.

    I'm a huge fan of Zarate. His physical attributes and consistency have him shading Olivares for me personally.
