What a silly comment, when did I say anything remotely close to that. I appreciate mayweather skills but Lomachenko is a more entertaining fighter imo. You’re hatred for Floyd is seeping through your comment.

He actually strikes me as being very measured, pragmatic about his skill set. Never have I heard him say something like I am the greatest or no one can beat me. On the contrary, he always says anyone can beat you on any given night if you are not properly prepared and on your toes.

I agree he looked weary. As to JMM, I think it depends on when in his career you are referring. I think Loma would have outpointed JMM prior to his step up in weight in 2008. Maybe stopped him. I don't think Loma would have dominated and may have lost if he had fought JMM at super lightweight.

The bar is set right where Robinson, Armstrong, and Duran left it.

Reading all these comments arguing about whether Loma deserved to be considered ATG or not is just hilarious. We all know that Loma is still far from being retired.

You guys wanna know why I love Loma ? Simple, because he fought like the boxer I adore. I love that boxer so much because of his elegance, intelligence and vast technical knowledge inside the ring. When that boxer retired, I found boxing world is a bit less interesting than before as I don't have someone I really root like before. But now Loma is here and it really excites me.

    Now the question is...

Can he beat Duran ? No, he can't. Duran's retired 20 years ago.

Can he beat Crawford or Spence ? No, he can't. Different weight class.

Can he beat Pacquiao ? No, he can't. Different weight class.

Can he beat Mikey Garcia ? Yes, I trust he can.

Bottomline is, well, we all have our own opinion about boxing. Some people may find the way Loma fight interesting, some people don't. It's fine, that's how the way it is. Me too, for example, am not fond of Canelo myself. Many people doesn't like Floyd, but I found him to be genius and great tactician. So...just enjoy the game, shall we ? Don't be too serious. :D

The fact that you did not ridicule me for the suggestion supports the idea that loma would have found ferrtile competitive ground when manny ****ed up barrera and then did not dominate jmm and then barrera ****ed up the prince, etc...all very interesting. boxing is the ****

That could very well be. My main point is while Loma is a solid name to bandy about when talking great small guys like Morales and Barrera and The Prince and Manny and JMM and who else that existed in a relatively short pan of years he is not head and shoulders above that group and Duran beats him up.
