I know scoring a fight is absolutely subjective but im very surprised that 2 of the 3 judges gave Barker the 12th. Geale had him hurt and nearly stopped and in my opinion bossed that round. Personally felt Barker won, helluva fight.

For thinking geale took the 12th. He clearly did. Nobody is disputing that Barker isn't deserving of his win.

Although if that one Judge gave Geale the 12 round, Barker would have lost a SD.

They got other rounds wrong which they have to geale as if they'd given Geale the 12th barker would have lost the fight which obviously wouldn't be right.

On a re watch i can see a case for 6-6 each with Geale winning because of the KD but you would have to give Geale about 3 close rounds. I had Barker 114-113. 7 rounds to 5.

Yeah I thought the 116-111 was a bit daft. Had it for barker by 1 round taking into account the knock down.

    BRILLIANT FIGHT.

Can see an argument either way. Barker was hurt more often, but did more work and cleaner work. overall Geale won the 12th IMO, but it wasn't enough.

    BRILLIANT FIGHT.

Boxing needs more of this kind of match-up.
