Shame for barker, however he must have some weak mentality to keep getting these injuries...sometimes in life you just have to say '**** it' and carry on despite an injury...If froch got an arm injury would he pull out, hell no would he....barker is becoming the Darren anderton of boxing

I'm beginning to worry about Barker's career. One injury after another!

Thankfully its not the end of the card as Bellew v Miranda is a decent fight. & to be fair Purdy is always in decent scraps aswell.

Fully agree. He is so injury prone, he's the Darren Anderton of boxing. I feel sorry for the bloke, a genuinely nice guy.

The hip injuries especially he has had before have meant that road work for example had become non existent.

It does get to the point that if your body keeps breaking down on you & you can't train properly anyway you are restricted from the start.

If he can get back in decent shape it isn't for me about getting to world level imo cash in quickly on a big domestic fight hopefully he has invested his purse from the Martinez fight. The body can only recover so many times from injury & start becoming related to previous ones.

I think he'd paid his mortgage off or bought a house outright, one or the other.

    Sure I read that somewhere.

He should fight Steve Kim, beat the slit eyed ****er to within an inch of the next world. Annoying **** that he is.

    No racist.

The thing with Barker is that he is 30 years old. H eis more prone to injuries and near the end of his career.
He should take a year off like JuanMa and like Ward did. Ward had a nice long rest and now he says that his body is all good.
