The only reason froch worked is because froch is class.

I don't think going British to European then world is the reason he is in the **** now. Froch and Witter both went on to win WBC titles. He is in the state he is in because he asked ITV for way to much money and was giving them Tom Glover in headline fights at the time.

Is having British and European champions really part of it though, especially when two went on to win the WBC?

how long did it take them to win those titles. wbc doesn't mean anything more than the other belts. its the mexican title. theres quicker routes to a belt.

Had to laugh when Flexon said in BN about the good job he'd done with Murray. Six fights in two-and-half years! At similar stage of his career Hatton had six fights in just over a year. Froch had similar lack of momentum and he should be admired for how he kept his belief during this time.

The Tom Glovers/Purdy/McDonaghs just weren't good enough for ITV audience. I love boxing and I hate watching those guys.

Mick's problem is he is a field of dreams promoter build show and they will come. There is more to promoting than that. I know BBC were disappointed that he expected them to do all publicising when he got deal there.

European title doesnt mean **** now. Its the matches you make.

Remember when Thaxton-Murray was a 50-50 fight? Wasn't when it was made.

Spot on Hennesey served up some ****. Remember Angel Mcenzie on ITV4. O'Donnell vs Glover.

    I enjoyed Micks tv dates.

It funny how everyone hounds Warren (rightly so) for pushing the WBU and garbage intergalactic titles, yet when Hennessy pushes the traditional root he gets a slating?

Mick was unlucky when ITV pulled out, hopefully he can get a decent TV deal and carry on. The more competition the better.

How exactly so is the Froch deal gonna work if he is on Sky on May 21st ? Will he fight under the Matchroom banner like Hennessy fighters did last year to get on Sky or will Sky give Hennessy just a 1 off fight deal.

They have probably done a deal for this fight and then the Ward final should he win.
