Barker - 'Macklin's not in my league'

I don't think it was controversial. A DQ would have been ridiculous. The guy was still throwing, Barker was probably a little woozy, the count hadn't been started, he just reacted. Parris should have ruled an NC - which could have been done after the fact if the board had wanted to.

But Parris is a dreadful ref.

 

I can see where your coming from for sure (looking at it again i do), but i feel Parris's shite attempt at getting between the fighters was half the reason Barker followed through with the punch, Samuels looks as if hes going to follow up with a barrage of punches whilst Barker is looking to defend himself because Parris is nowere to be seen, unfortunate set of events in which Barker might not have heard the call form Parris, or maybe he did, only Barker knows the answer.
