Barker to fight for vacant Brit title on Froch-Dirrell undercard

Never even heard about this....anyone know if its still on or not? Nothing announced yet

 

I was thinking the same thing. The undercard looks dire.

 

I don't think Barker is on the undercard, his next fight is in november.

someone posted the undercard a couple of weeks back and it was horrendous

 

I don't think the Glover fight is on either (got a broken nose in his last fight a couple of weeks ago).

So you haven't got either of those fighters on the bill, Fury is boxing on the undercard of the Bernard Dunne fight and Murray is against Thaxton on a separate show, which all equals to a dire undercard on the Froch bill.

 

definitely. i'm not sure what facey has done to get a shot at the british middleweight title

 

That is good to hear. A British/C'Wealth title fight gives this card some more worth. I'm sick of one decent fight.

 

So far I've only heard Mutley Vs Dave Ryan definite for the undercard?

the hennesey card is dire. especially when you cinsider you need to be in the arena by 11pm and the fight starts at 2. i was going to go until i saw the undercard.

I spoke to Barker on saturday as i play football agaisnt him allot. he is 100% not on the Froch card, and he doesnt know when he will be out next he is hopeing november. he said the board are being slow on nominating a fighter for him to face for the vacant title.

I told him that hennesey is a **** promoter and he cant even get froch on tv. he didnt say anything just smiled. think all his stable are starting to clock on.

its events like this being shown in the states thats perfect for hennyssy to give our new talent some exposure, its not rocket science, get fury, barker, o'donnell on the undercard.

better still lets get it televised first of all.....
