Who would come out on top if there these 3 all fought off??

Personally think Barker's style wouldnt be right for Macklin, and he has far too much movement for Murray so id say Barker.

Macklin's a pressure fighter and if he corners barker he would be in trouble, but aslong as barker stayed on the move boxing of the back foot countering i think maybe a points win would come his way. I believe it would be very tight though. Murray would be easy picking for either tbh.

  4. Lee beats them all because he's Irish (no PatrickP) :hey

In all seriousness, I think he is the best of the four, followed by Barker, then Macklin and Murray bringing up the rear.

I think questions need to be asked of Lee's handlers over the past two years, his progress (or lack of) has been frustrating.

Lee definitely needs a big fight soon. Otherwise he is in danger of falling into the John Duddy trap. Lee obviously makes them plenty of money but they dont want to raise his competition even a little bit in the past couple of years.

If somebody had a little bit of vision the past couple of years we could have had some sort of tourney on Sky.

Barker, Macklin, Murray, Lee, McEwan, P Smith, Duddy

Any 4 of those would have been a brilliant proposition for some sort of round robin and could represent all parts of the UK. Shame.....

the fact that Lee is the only one to have not fought for a world title says allot. to protected.

Hardly protected. It was DiBellas decision to stick Macklin in with Martinez when Lee and Manny were screaming for the shot. Once Macklin got the nod Lee called out Sturm and JCCJ.

    Lack of opportunity than protectionism.

Explain how Macklin is fighting Martinez
Explain how Barker has faced Martinez
Explain how Macklin has faced Sturm
Explain how Murray has faced Sturm

But Lee's best win is Craig McEwan

Lee was offered to fight Sturm and refused so the fight was offered to Macklin and he accepted. Lee was also offered to fight Pirog and refused. Had Lee taken that fight with Sturm and done well, it would be him facing Martinez this weekend. He has been too picky in the past so he only has himself/his team to blame. But it seems he is willing to go out of his comfort zone of late.

It should also be noted that Barker and Murray refused to fight Lee on the undercard of Macklin v Martinez.

I think Lee will prove himself to be the best of the lot.

I think Macklin is the best of the 3.
Barker is the tidiest boxer but he seems to lack a bit of power and stamina.

It depends what you mean by refused. In the case of Lee he will have turned down offeres which the others accepted.

Barker had a world title fight lined up. Thats why they rejected Lee.

I didn't realise the word refuse has so many meanings. I mean, not accepting i.e refusing.

If the British educational system refuse to teach it's pupils geography then I don't see why I should have to step in and fill the breach!! ;)
