Is the money usually better in Germany (bar someone like the Klitchkos)? It seems that the majority of fights are free to air and there is no pay per view.

Sturm isn't what he was and Barker should beat him home or away if he shows the heart shown in the Geale fight. I think this fight will be in the UK.

after winning world title abroad his first defence should be on home soil in what would be big fight against sturm and earn good money.

To send him to germany on rivals card would simply be ridiculous and cashing out way to soon.

think long term big money british battles and run the show against strum as loss leader even if only breaks even as a promotion it will serve to build darren as a more well known fighter and build the british fights up swell.shambolic promotion absolute shambolic.

I think the odds of a Barker win vs the money says that going to Germany is the correct call. I think he has a good chance in Germany and the win is far from a guarantee over here so go for it I say.

 

Barker should fight at home and win and then cash out against Golovkin.

 

Barker needs the money, (well wants it to help settle any worries) from what I've heard from someone who's in the camp its pretty much nailed on that Barker vs Sturm happens in Germany,

Sturm has seen better days and is very much beatable, i can understand Barker's decision in taking the fight in Germany. he can have his London fight next time.

 

I actually thought Sturm should have got the decisions against Murray, Geale and Soliman but i do think whomever has home advantage on the fight will have a major advantage
