Eddie just simply said its an option they have to look at. Doesn't mean they are doing it. Darren himself has said it's about securing his families future. He has to cash out before GGG comes calling

 

Just fight Sturm in Germany and have a rematch clause in it simples. Is there any chance they could fight in Germany but Barker could choose the ref etc?

Froch went to the states for his first defence against Taylor.

Jermain Taylor was shot to bits when he boxed Froch and nearly had him out of there, and was beating him widely

 

I completely understand it. this is why im saying take the next year approach rather than ultimate short term view going to have first defense in Germany where will never ever get the decision especially given Darren has little power to knock him out and he wins fights on accuracy rather than volume which will count against him in Germany.

Darren will make more money if does not take this fight i n my opinion by how many big fights and relatively easier fights there are to be had in england.That said as somebody else mentioned if the body not holding out cash out immediately.all the best to him.
