Boxrec is absolute wank mate, esb is up and down but loads better than that shite....

 

Yeah, you see on BoxRec you would be expected to actually explain WHY you thought it was wank/shite - otherwise no one would give a **** about what you were saying. I like that.

I like it there and here too. This is a bit more cut and thrust and knockabout. ESB's lounge is one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

What other forums are any good? Other British ones I've been on just don't seem to get any traffic...

 

ESB has slipped a lot in the past year.

Plenty of decent posters stopped posting, and the new ones that are good don't post as much.

I still think the lack of a British mod that weeds out all the annoying aliases and deletes **** threads is a problem.

What is the general forum like on Boxrec?

It's called 'Current Scene' and is absolutely ****ing awful. I'm on the British forum on Boxrec several times a day but I probably only go to the Current Scene a couple of times a year.

If you're a Brit with the slightest bit of intelligence, you wouldn't be able to take it - full of mental Yanks.

I've never even been to the general on here...but I've heard ESB is even worse. I only go on the Lounge because it's supposed to be sh1te and full of nonsense.

I had to laugh when the first thread was 'Is Freddie Roach married?' but in general, it looks about the same.

If you don't post on the British Boxrec forum, you ought to give it a go. Different to here but good all the same.

 

The only time I ever use boxrec is when ESB crashes during a big fight Boxrec seems to be the only boxing site that actually survives....must have the best servers in the internet boxing world.

I would give Boxrec a go but it seems you are not allowed to post about World boxing over there. Thats where ESB exceeds Boxrec IMO. You can chat and post about anything related in boxing in the ESB Brit Forum, regardless of a boxers nationality.

That was actually a reference to a Tarver thread i started on the Brit forum (which i thought was decent) then it got moved, i asked why then got banned.
