Why are the British fans generally so biased towards their fighters?

Irish fans regularly slag off their fighters but when they see the bias of British fans it probably annoys them.

 

Not to mention the disgraceful 'Leonard-Hearns-esque' stoppage. :deal

I questioned your scoring, and briefly said what I thought had traspired and you threw out the usual load of nonsense. I thought Spada won the third and two of the later rounds, though which ones escape me at this time. It's not the scorecard you have that I was questioning, it was the rounds in which you awarded to Domenico.

 

I thought I explained why I gave the first two rounds to Spada.

What exactly did Spada do in the third that he didnt do in either of the first two rounds that swung those rounds his way?

Great explanation, one that anybody who didn't even see the fight could have come up with. You accuse me of being predictable and then throw out one of the most cliched lines used in the sport as a reason.

It's once again noticeable that you failed to respond to anything else that I noted in that post. Still picking and choosing what you respond to slap, very predictable.

Not so much what Spada did, more what Barker didn't do. He threw more and looked more imposing than he did in the opening two, but that doesn't win you rounds, what does win you rounds is clean, effective punching, and he did less of that in the third, landing the majority of his punches on Spada's arms and gloves. In fact, Spada did do something different, he shortened up his hooks a bit and was more measured with them, which allowed him to land a couple behind Barker's guard, as opposed to landing directly on it. Those shots that he landed were more telling than anything Barker threw, being more eye-catching doesn't make your effectiveness increase.

 

I was laughing at you scoring the 1st and 2nd to Spada.

You said saturday night that they are 50/50 fights, all of a sudden because somebody questions your scoring of the fight you lash out and say this:huh How is Barker chinny? because he's been down a few times? He has never actually been wobbled badly in a fight, where as Andy Lee has been out on his feet and near death on numerous occasions, Macklin has been sparked outcold..please explain? Also how is Barker a hype job? Nobody is saying he will be a world champion, alot of people are expecting him to fail at world level.

 

Andy Lee is a chinny son of a *****, who got knocked the **** out by a guy he outweighed by 12lbs on the night!

 

Macklin has no power. The guy knocks out Amin Asikainen and now suddenly he has power?! Asikainen got knocked out by a guy with a 40% ko ratio in his last fight. Martin Murray would destroy Macklin!
